TDC is busier now than ever!! Seems as though we are growing everyday, and despite the recession, we're taking on new jobs every single day! It's and exciting time for sure!
Today, we're wrapping up Tim's 300zx tranny install. Also, this afternoon, we'll be tuning Jon's turbo CRX. We'll be tuning his setup on E85, so be on the lookout for dyno charts either this afternoon or first thing in the morning.

Cam's GT30R 240sx is back at TDC for some valvetrain work after a mishift, and we'll be starting on Chris Sanborn's DA integra build. We'll be documenting this build step by step for the customer, and all of the info will be uploaded to our online forum.

The power of E85...
This weekend, we Re-tuned Avery's Del Sol on E85 fuel. There were no additional modifications, and no additional boost pressure. All of the power gains are from making the switch to E85!
Here's the chart:
Obviously, the green chart is the 93 Octane tune, and the blue chart is the e85 tune. That's nearly a 10% gain in power from a switch to E85!!
Call the shop to setup your dyno tuning appointment today!!

Dusty's 240sx turbo kit installation is done, and he's on the roller, ready to be tuned. He's only wanting about 6 psi, to keep it safe and fun.
Also, in August we were at the Elite Summer Nationals car show here in Spartanburg. Thsi show has grown steadily over the last few years, and is making a nationwide impact.
Here is the coverage from this months Import Tuner magazine:

That's Steven from Elite's 300zx getting all of the attention, and TDC's own Duke got his LSX RX-7 in the magazine. Congrats guys!

Today, Jason's parts are here for his Scion engine build. For those of you who don't know, Jason has a '05 Scion TC with a Sound Performance turbo kit. He's made well over 350 whp for 2 years, and his stock piston rings have given up the fight. We'll be building his engine with forged Wiseco pistons and Eagle Rods. He'll be shooting for over 500 whp.

Zac's Del Sol is getting a JDM B16, and a load of other rare JDM goodies, including an SIR steering wheel, Map lights, one piece head lights, JDM running lights and a Jdm rear valance.
Once the swap is running today, we'll be tuning it with Crome gold on a chipped P28. Zac will be using E85 on this set up.

All in a days work...
Sometimes we build car, sometimes we fix cars... Today was one of those days.
Shane's Z came to us a few months back for some repairs after another local shop built a custom turbo kit for him. After the over heating issues were fixed (from the fans being wired wrong), the gauges rewired, and a few other issues, he brought it back to us for a re tune.
His car uses a SC61 turbo, 550cc RC injectors, and is running 9 psi.

Note that the red lines are from our tune and the blue lines are from another local shop's tune. The numbers speak for themselves.

Jason's STS turbo 350Z is in for some maintenance work, and is a quick in and out job.

I'm also in the middle of assembling the H22 for my civic. This has been a long time coming and has really taken a back seat to other projects in the shop. It's a Benson sleeve, JE piston, Eagle rod setup. I have a Portflow head for it, among other nice pieces. Once we find time to finish it up, I'm gonna shoot for around 550 whp on low boost and closer to 700 whp for the track.

Wednesday, November 4th...
We've been busy at TDC for quite some time now. So busy, that we haven't been able to update the Blog. Here's a few of the more notable things that we've been working on.
Daniels 350Z came to us for a tune. Daniel had installed a PowerLab GT35R Turbo kit on his car, and after some searching for a shop to perform the tune, chose us.
![Photobucket](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_vrfLPj4nHmaem6av--dvvWBhJuqLS-GvWuiUSdaufzvFKJEyDNhkatTeBIyOiIN5GT-1SYHYpWmDuDLJHobBqu7KLXo1ML4ybbFu7hOxhDIAXzwRDdeXVHUFu2Kt13KO4znPTbjeO2=s0-d)
While he was in, he decided to have us install a Competition Clutch Stage 4 and lightweight flywheel. We finished up that stuff no problem and got the Z on the dyno. Hubert managed to squeeze out 376 whp on only 5.5 psi. Not too bad. This will be both a reliable and respectable street car.

"Tony" a local customer who wanted to keep his name to himself, came in for a tune on his turbo Civic sedan. Tony's setup was a D16z6 with Vitara pistons, a ramhorn manifold, and a Ebay T3/T4 turbo. We installed his 1000cc Precision Injectors, AEM Tru-boost controller and Gm 3 bar and got him on the dyno.

Since his tune, Tony has decided to order a little higher compression pistons, Hasport mounts and a Turbonetics turbo. His plans include 500 whp. This car is a true "sleeper".
We've also just taken in Dusty's S14 240sx. He's in for a new tranny and a Turbonetics turbo kit install.
