2JZ Update and Budget Car Finishing up..

Tim's G35 Sedan is making some more progress on its 2JZ swap. Motor is in for the last time and the transmission is out being rebuilt right now. We finally received the Intake Manifold back from being chromed and the new water pump and belts are going on now


Travis Budget Build Integra is close to being finished. We will be looking to hopefully tune the car tonight if all goes right.

Transmission Rebuilds and Motor Assemblies ...

Hubert, Our Tuner, well his transmission has been giving him some problems and this is why. He has broken a gear and his bearings and main shaft are all messed up. And with the Import Shootout coming this weekend we intend one having everything finished up for the race.







We are also assembling this B18b for one of our customers in an attempt to get him ready for this weekend. Motor should be finished today and probably on the Dyno Friday for a tune.

Shady Side Weekend and Tuning as always...

We had this Built Mustang come in to see how much power his car was making. Not enough timing was in the car. He should be back soon to see what his car is really making.


Eddie's Hondata S300 went bad on him a few weeks ago so he is back with a new ECU for Crome Gold and a bigger fuel pump. Stay tuned to these numbers as he will be going up on the boost too.



Here at TDC we are getting are cars ready for the yearly Import Shootout held at ShadySide Dragway. Most of the fastest imports in the area come out and show what they got at the event and we plan on bringing the best of what we have.

Project Integra...

Our budget Integra that we are only spend $1500 on is coming along very nicely. Motor is finally in and with a few more changes we should have her running by the end of the week.

Finishing up on Motor Rebuilds and Install Motor Mounts

Rob's rebuilt Civic motor is going back into the car today and will be tuned tonight. Machine shop has held us back a bit and we have made up for time lost. We will have the car out of here today.


Adam's New Tein Flex coilover is here and is going on the car. We are also adding some Megan Racing Motor Mounts for his Drift Car.

Motors, Dynos, and Tunes..

Carlos Prelude is back for some more look overs and minor maintenance work. In the next few weeks he plans to put a turbo kit on the car and wants the car to run perfect for a while until that time.



Danny was back with his Nissan Altima for the new numbers on his car. Everyone was very impressed with what the car made and was glad that Danny was very happy with his car.




Vegard's Evo Build continues at TDC.. The motor is out and being broke down right this moment.. We should have more in the next few days.






Last, We have TDC's Budget Integra Build. This car will consist of an F22 motor out of an Accord. At first the car will just run all motor. But in the coming weeks it will have a turbo kit attached and see how much it can take lol. Stay Tuned...

RX-7 Turbo Upgrade, 3000GT VR4 Maintenance and D-Series Rebuilds..

Charles brought us his Mazda RX-7 for a full out fluid change of the whole car. As we where in the process we noticed his turbos were leaking badly. So he will be upgrading to a Greddy Single Turbo. After the install we will be tuning the car also. Be on the look out for this project when the turbo arrives.



Jamie's Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 for some maintenance on his car. Jamie had brought us his Mustang 5.0 the week before for some work. We also replaced the Oil Filter Adapter on his 3000GT.



Rob's Civic OEM D16Y8 Rebuild is making progress. Slowed up by the machine shop, we have gotten everything ready to put back together. Here is the before and after picture of the Pistons after cleaning.

Recap: Last Weeks Work..

Just wanted to catch everyone up on what has been going on here at TDC..

Vegard brought us his new purchase for some look overs and a rebuild. His newly bought 03 Mitsubishi Evolution. Vegard is from the Norway and is about to export his car over seas. When he bought the car it was Rod-Knocking on his Buscher Motor, so we will be performing a complete motor rebuild and look to have him on his way.






Danny who is a long tim customer of TDC bought us his Nissan Altima for a Header upgrade. Danny will be back in a few days to put his car on the dyno and we will show you guys the difference from the base to the new results.



Carlos brought his girlfriends Civic up to TDC for a motor swap. The car originally had a D16z6 in it and they upgraded to a B16a motor. Easy swap and had them on there way in one day.

TDC at Road to Atlanta... Formula D

TDC will be attending the Road to Atlanta Event in Commerce,Georgia this Saturday. Come join us out there and have a good time.

G35 Tires..

Austin's G35 was in for some new tires. Austin has his S13 SR20 drift car that was built here at TDC and gets all of his cars taken care of here at TDC.

KA24DE Swaps and D16Y8 Rebuilds at TDC...

Work has started on Kris's 240sx KA24DE swap..His old KA had locked up on him one day driving along..Kris has also told me he will be boosting his car next and will be coming to us for his Turbo Dreams.



Rob brought us his son's Civic for a blown motor. As you can see in the pictures, there is deff a hole in the block. We should have him on his way soon..







Last, we had Cody back with his Civic. Now with new motor setup up and a turbo kit on his car he was in need of a tune. We got him setup up on 5psi.. he will be back to turn up the boost and then we will release the dyno sheet.

Viper Alarms and Turbo Installs

Will brought us his Honda CRV for a alarm install. In an attempt to protect his vehicle he had us install a Viper alarm. We also did some regular maintenance for him.


Jessie's 240sx S13 SR20 in for a turbo swap. His old T25's seals were completely shot and was smoking really bad. New one was installed and was tuned on Nistune to get him in and out.

GSR Crome Gold Tuning..

Okeat brought us his freshly re-built GSR for a tune. The numbers were very respectable and with his itch for more we will be setting him up to convert over to E85. Watch for in the next couple of weeks for new results.
