Heath's car was back to add some more parts to his fresh build on his 09 Civic Si. He came across a good deal on a DC header for his car and decided to jump on it. Next is the cams and tune on FlashPro.

After installing the exhaust components, we got Remo's car on the rollers.

The Red Chart is the Baseline pull, and the Blue Chart is after our tune.
Bee brought us his RSX in hopes of getting the car back running. Once we started digging into it, we immediately figured out what his problem was. A dropped valve was the cause off his disaster and with that the devastation of these spark plugs.

Work begins with Dyno Night Over! Custom Exhaust Work
Remo brought us his very fresh ef hatch on dyno night for some custom exhaust work and header install. He had bought a type 1 Bisimoto header and a Magnaflow muffler for his custom piping. This car will be tuned tonight on Crome Gold with his new modifications, so be on the look out for the dyno sheets.

Small Week Recap....10/15 - 10/19
Trey brought us his RB20 S13 for a look over. He had originally thought the turbo had went bad, but we will be checking everything over to make sure it is just that.
Brett's Megan Racing OE-RS is in and installed. He was running around with no exhaust at all. Now his car is way softer with a very sport tune.
Cheng brought us his Hatch for some preventative maintenance. We installed a new Timing belt, water pump and had him out the same day.

TDC Super Snake Mustang Dyno Run...
Jeff brought us his 2010 Shelby Super Snake Mustang for some Dyno pulls. Car is rated at 750hp and the numbers feel way short of it. Jeff purchased an SCT Tuner while he was here and will be coming in Friday for a complete tune on SCT. Be on the look out for these numbers as there will be more horsepower to be made.

Civic Radiator Replacements and Infinti Brakes and Rotors ...
John Mark is a long time customer of TDC and has been around the shop since day one. Well he brought his car to us today because it was running hot. A new water pump and radiator was put on the car. His old radiator literally had a stick through it lol. We had him all fixed up and out the door today.
Tim's Infiniti QX56 is in here for some slotted rotors and upgraded brakes for the front. He will be back in a few weeks to have the back rotors and brakes done too.

K-Motor Assembled and H23 Head-Gaskets
Heath's motor is finally together and getting prepped for install tomorrow. Heath will be driving the car around for a while to break the motor in before the tuning part of his rebuild.
Donna's Prelude is getting a new head-gasket with the other issues we had resolved on her car. The car was originally brought in just to get it running, and with that we discovered that the head-gasket had be put on backwards by a previous shop.

Worst Tune Contest!
Customer must purchase Wideband to be entered into the "Worst Tune" contest. TDC will choose one car at the end of dyno night, based on wideband readings, and appearance of the dyno chart. The car with the "worst tune" will be awarded with a voucher for half off the price of a normal tune (a $175 - $300 value). Awarded voucher must be redeemed within 30 days. Winning customer is responsible for purchasing and installing any needed tuning hardware.
Worst Tune Contest is open to all vehicles, Import and Domestic. Entered cars can be previously tuned, mods changed, stock cars etc. No requirements to enter the contest.
This Camaro Z28 rolled in yesterday in need of some new lifters for his car. After those repairs the car will be put on the dyno for some numbers on this setup.
Heath's motor took more of a beaten then we had all assumed in the beginning. After the head came off the rings were all cracked from the nitrous which ruined the pistons. Heath decided to upgrade rather then just fix his car. His new setup up with consist of CP pistons, Eagle rods, ACL bearings, Flash-Pro, and a few other mods to complete his setup. Heath will also be boosting the car down the road and feels it is the best time to prepare for that.
