Finishing the week with a BANG!!

It's been a busy week at TDC. We've been blessed with lots of work, and we seem like we're only getting busier!

After installing a set of Full-race traction bars on Jon's CRX, the 21 year old mounting holes just couldn't hold on anymore. Since this car sees a lot of track time, we decided to weld the bars to the frame, making them a permanent, more solid addition to the car.

Jeramiah brought in his AP1 S2000 for some transmission work today. His higher mileage S2K lost 6th gear a few days ago, so he brought it in to us. We dropped the tranny this morning, and we should receive the shift fork and bearings Monday morning. We hope to have him back on the road by Tuesday.

Another customer brought us his newly acquired Turbo Civic today for a valve lash adjustment. He just bought the car, and wanted to make sure that it's in perfect running order. We should be retuning this car before long, and with a few more psi, should see some more power!

And lastly, Steven had his EK Civic Sedan on the rollers for a tune on Crome Gold. This is a daily driver, with reliability and longevity in mind. It's a sleeper to say the least, and even has the BOV recirculated to cut down on the sound.

Monday! Back to Work!

After Saturday's dyno night, we're back to the grind.

Shawn's Saab Viggen build is wrapping up, with the motor going back in to the car today. Travis has spent some long hours on this one, and we're glad to see it finished.

Remember, TDC can handle all of your general maintenance work too! Email or call for a quote on anything from an oil change to a timing belt!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the dyno night on Saturday. Attendance was way down from our usual crowd. Apparently, people don't really like to stand ou in the jungle like heat! Be looking for another TDC dyno night around October!

Mustang GT Numbers and SR20 Oil Pumps...

Tim's Mustang GT is finally tuned and the numbers are very respectable. We used SCT tuner for this car. We had a Diablo Sport Tuner for this setup but changed over to SCT Tuner which had some other features Tim liked.

The red line is our tune.
The blue line is the base tune that came with the kit.

Progress Continues on 350Z and Civic swaps...

Shane's new VQ35DE motor is in the car and we are currently waiting on a new Stage 5 Competition Clutch to come in to finish the job. When the motor was coming out we found his old clutch was close to nothing and with Shane wanting more boost he would need a new, stronger clutch.
Photobucket

Rob's Civic motor swap is coming along. With the motor in Rob decided last minute to replace all of the belts and pumps on the motor for regular maintenance.
