Daily Grind.....

Justin's LT1 Camaro is in the shop today for a new McCloud clutch and a set of brake pads. The original clutch that was in his car has seen better days. This car will be turned around same day.





Ramon's STI Engine build is coming together nicely. We hope to have him on the road by Friday.



Phillip also brought his Jetta in for some dyno pulls. He's running a T3/T4 60 trim, and made close to 400 WHP.

VQ35DE Rebuild

Matt's G35 is in for a rebuild. We pulled the shortblock apart this morning, and here is what we found:









We'll be replacing the pistons and rods with forged pieces, and then reinstalling his supercharger and tuning the car on Turbo XS UTEC.

Friday Night Tuning...

It's been a VERY busy week at TDC. We're finishing up late tonight with a few tunes.

Nhia has been a TDC customer for a while now. We've had his RSX-S in the shop on several occasions for upgrades and tune. He recently decided to get a turbo car, and bought this Midori Green EK hatch. We had the hatch in today for several repairs, and a tune on Hondata.



Here is the setup:

This chart is at 14 PSI. Nhia plans to come back soon to have us install ARP head studs, a Cometic Head Gasket, and new cams.

Tuesday, Feb 22nd!!!!

Micheals '03 Mustang GT is on the rack today for a set of Ford Racing 4:10 gears. We'll have his car ready to go in a few hours. We'll also be calibrating his speedometer via his SCT X3.

Friday again...

It's been a busy week at TDC. We're in the middle of 5 engine builds, and the dyno has been packed all week.

Today, Sam's Audi A4 is in for several upgrades, including a new exhaust and a ECM reflash from APR.

It's Monday...Back to it!!

Andrew's 1993 Trans AM is in for a complete engine rebuild. We'll also be installing a cam and a set of long tube headers while every is apart.



Chang also dropped his civic by the shop today. He installed a Skunk2 Intake Manifold over the weekend, and had some vacuum leaks, along with other issues. We'll be sorting out the problems, and getting him back on the road today!

Tuning 7 days a week!!?!?!?

Kolby brought us his 1998 Honda Accord with a JDM H23 VTEC for a tune on Crome Gold. Since weekends are more convenient for some of our customers, we offer tuning on both Saturday and Sunday, by appointment only. Give us a call to set up your appointment today!!!

RSX Upgrades and tunes.....

Nhia is in for a Skunk2 intake manifold and Skunk2 Throttle Body installation. After the parts install, it's back to the rollers for a retune on KPro. For those that don't remember this car, we had it in over the summer to install IPS K2 cams, a hybrid racing TCT, SuperTech springs and retainers, and a 3" KTeller exhaust.



Byron also dropped of his AP1 S2K for some issues with an O2 sensor. He's had his car at several other shops, and had 3 O2 sensors installed in the past. We've diagnosed the issue as a faulty air injection pump relay. We hope to get him back on the road today!!!

TGIF!!

Matt's supercharged G35 build is underway. We pulled the supercharger and mounting bracket in preparation to pull the engine, and since there was no filter on the supercharger, there was some considerable damage to the impeller blades. We'll get the blower shipped to Procharger for a rebuild, and hopefully have it back before the new engine goes in the car.





We're also changing a head gasket on a boosted D16z6. This car made 363 WHP the last time it was on the rollers, and after the ARP studs and Cometic Head Gasket is installed, we'll be shooting for 400 WHP. Check back for the dyno chart!

New Projects at TDC!!

Jarrod's J swapped EK is in the shop this week. We took delivery of his car at our open house. Jarrod's car had the J swap installed some time ago by another shop, but the swap still has a lot of loose ends. No VSS, resulting in no VTEC, an overheating issue, and a few other issues will be addressed over the next few days.



We have Shane's EG Civic on the dyno for a tune. Shane is shooting for around 600 WHP out of his car, and after a few fueling issues are sorted out, squeezing out plenty of power should be no issue! Be on the lookout for the dyno charts!



Tim's Terminator Cobra is in for a new Power Steering Rack and a supercharger drive belt. After the repairs are done, Tim will hit the rollers for a tune on SCT.

G35 Supercharger Repair and Motor build...

Matt's G35 is in for some massive repairs. He recently installed a Procharger kit on his car which caused some problems. So we will be resolving those issues and we will be building the motor and tuning this car for its maximum potential. Watch out for the results on this car here in the upcoming days.

Civic Competition Clutch installs and Retune....

Jonathan was in for a retune on his Civic and needed some work done before everything could be touched up. New Competition Stage 5 Clutch, Fixed a bunch of oil leaks, New plugs, changed all the belts, and added a bigger wastegate spring. Car will be ready for tomorrow to roll back onto the dyno for the required changes and more boost.

Head-gaskets on Mustangs and Saabs... Also BMW Maintenance...

This Mustang is in for a small build. Needing new head-gaskets he decided to upgrade with Cometic gaskets and ARP studs to go along with his Trickflow intake manifold, long tube headers, new x-pipe, and a nitrous kit. Car will also be tuned using SCT. We will have charts of the car on motor and on nitrous, stay tuned....


Shawn's Saab is in for a head-gasket replacement with other maintenance. Shawn plans on adding more boost here soon and will be on the dyno for that.


This BMW is in for some regular maintenance. Belts were squealing, in need of an oil change, and new spark plugs. The BMW will be put on the dyno for some baseline numbers for fun.

MKIV Supra Turbo Upgrades, Audi Lowering Springs and Prelude Valve-cover gasket

Sam's Audi is in TDC for some Tein Lowering springs on his Audi A4.Sam, a regular here at TDC will be coming back in the next few days for a front mount intercooler upgrade along with a down-pipe and exhaust.







Big horsepower is the reason this MKIV Toyota Supra is in here at TDC. The customer has big dreams and for these dreams he will be upgrading pretty huge. Bigger single turbo upgrade and a tune on AEM EMS. Be on the look out for this dyno sheet!



William's Prelude stopped in for some maintenance also. He had a bad oil leak coming from his valve cover gasket which covered his motor in oil. We replaced the valve cover gasket and added some new spark plugs. The wrapped him up with an Castrol GTX oil change and had him on his way.
